  1. Hi Brook, this is a wonderful site – the R75/5 rebuild information is invaluable and much appreciated. Regarding putting the floats back in to a 64/32/10 (right) carburetor: the pin (41) the floats pivot on is knurled on one end. I removed the pin carefully, but neglected to note what side of the carburetor the knurled end of the pin should be on. Do you know what side the knurled end is supposed to be on? Thank you! -David

    • Hi David,

      I orient the knurled end to the inside (the side with the enricher and throttle cables) so I can knock it out with a small box end nail without having to remove the carburetor when I want to check the fuel seat for grit getting in the seat.
