This shows the way I put the R80ST back together after disassembling it down to the frame.
Here is how I disassembled the bike.
And this provides an index of all the work I did to restore this bike organized by the parts main sub-categories.
Here are pictures of the completed bike.
Amazing! What a great job! Congratulation! A friend of mine have had on and sold it. He regrets it his life still then!
Wolfgang,
Thank you.

Beautiful job – as always Brook! As I have said previously, somebody is going to get a superb motorcycle in the auction. Congratulations to you and to Euromoto Electrics for all the hard work and skill.
Peter,
I really respect EME’s commitment to supporting the MRP and funding so much of this project for me.

Gorgeous Brook-
Nicely done
It’s always a learning experience when following your work. Thanks.
Russ,
You’re welcome.

Very nice!! Thank you for letting us follow along with this fantastic project.
Brook,
Beautiful job and even better on the videos! Have you had time to determine if your carb jetting is correct? My ST has a 40 idle jet and always has a stumble accelerating off idle. Wondering if going to the 45s is the key. All other is the same as your setup.
Peter,
I’m still working on break-in and shake down. I’m going to check the carbs now. That said, I’ve ridden about 50 miles so far and it’s running well. 🙂
Best.
Brook.
